The City of Thunder Bay boasts seven golf courses with a total of 99 holes with settings that range from rolling green hills to parks to the magnificent towering cliffs along the Nor'Wester Mountains.

In Terrace Bay, a lakeside course with new clubhouse facilities offers incredible views of Lake Superior and there is more great scenery on the links of the Manitouwadge course and the Peninsula Golf Course in Marathon. Nipigon's nine holes are surrounded by mountains and trees and Geraldton boasts 18 beautiful holes of challenging golf for all levels.

| North Shore Golf Club | | This is golf in North of Superior, where beautiful and challenging golf courses lie nestled in a backdrop of spectacular scenery. The fairways at North Shore are all natural grasses, wide and gently rolling, allowing golfers lots of room to play the game. You will encounter natural rock formations and a nice selection of man-made bunkers, such as ponds and sand traps. You will be playing on what are known to be some of the finest bent grass greens on the North Shore.
Although it is a challenge throughout, beginners to experienced hitters can play this course with pleasure. | | |
