Town of Marathon
Located on the shores of Lake Superior and at the midway point of the Lake Superior Circle Tour between the larger Cities of Sault Ste. Marie and Thunder Bay, Marathon is a popular spot with visitors. Surrounded by towering timber, lakes and rich mineral deposits, the town has a population of just over 4,000.
